France Property Guide - Aude Languedoc Roussillon France

The Aude, also known locally as "Cathar Country" section 11 is in south-central France. It takes its name from the Aude, where the water is the source of the Pyrenees.

The Aude is the largest departments of Languedoc-Roussillon, with an area of 6,343 km2. Parts of it are almost 2000 meters above sea level, stretches north to the Black Mountains and the south, you just tap the Pyrenees. To the east is the MediterraneanCoast, while to the west through the levels Quercorb, over the mountains to the plateau of Sault Plantaurel.

Tourists are often surprised Aude majestic natural beauty. But strangely, remains "under the radar, making it a hot spot for real estate operators. (Who would not want a piece of paradise at a reasonable price not his own?)

As you know, when it comes to real estate is all about location, location, location! And this is just Audefull potential here because of its proximity to major tourist attractions. Then you will have less than 60 minutes, either on the beach or a ski slope. This does not mean, however, that the Aude very busy on the movement of motor vehicles. Since its major highways north and east of the border Carcassonne and Narbonne to Toulouse, Perpignan and links, most of its interior regions are peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing day in the south ofFrance.

On the west side of Lauragais Aude, an area devoted to agriculture in the community and the major wheat producing hub of the department. As such, the landscape is very Lauragais lush, green and fertile, with streams and rivers crossing the road, which stretches west of the Languedoc-Roussillon Aquitaine. Besides the spectacular view of agriculture, visitors are alsotreated for various medieval town (eg Fanjeaux) and many locks (eg Chalabre). All this is of course the feeling, "pristine" ara.

For Sorth Lauragais of the spectacular forests and foothills of the Pyrenees. From here, residents and visitors enjoy the fantastic views of the mountains and beyond.

Continue Minervois and Corbières ... And his wine-Tastic Views!

On the east side of the Aude, the wine makingRegions of the Minervois and Corbières. Both offer great views and vineyard properties. However, if you're after a more rustic look and feel, then Corbières. This region has a smaller population and is mainly used by small businesses that their environment and the ruins of Cathar castles that still manages to pull the awe any visitor point. Just remember though that if you decide to go Corbières, for much, since most of the plants to be ready in a positionlarge suburbs to the east and north of the city.
