World Chocolate Cookie Recipe - Germany
"German Chocolate Pretzel"

A popular German Christmas treat.

Power: about 2 dozen

1 cup unsalted butter (soft)

2 1 / 2 cups flour

1 / 2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)

1 cup sugar

1 large egg (roomTemperature)

1 / 2 teaspoon salt

1 1 / 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Frosting:

1 egg white

2 teaspoons water

granulated sugar

Method:

1. Flour, cocoa powder and salt.

2. Butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat the egg, since then the vanilla.

3. Mix the flour with the butter, mix well, about 1 / 4 at a time.

4. Divide dough in half. Shape into logs about 5 cm long.

Chocolate Meringue Cookies

Power: about 2 dozen

2 egg whites

1 / 8 teaspoon salt

1 / 8 teaspoon cream of tartar

1Teaspoon vanilla extract

3 / 4 cup sugar

1 / 4 cup cocoa powder

6 g package of chocolate

1 / 4 cup chopped walnuts

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Place a sheet of baking paper on a baking sheet.

2. Protein, salt and cream of tartar with an electric mixer. Add the vanilla and continue beating until peaks form when the truck through it.

3. Sugar slowly while beating until the peaksrigid.
